We started our journey at Meadows Childminding Centre in 2012, providing a childminding service for 0 - 5 year old's. We had a fun five years, made lots of memories and even managed to achieve an 'Outstanding' grade when we were inspected by Ofsted. However, we began to outgrow our premises and decided it was time for a new adventure. We moved all our little ones and staff into our new premises in May 2017.

 

We now have a much bigger play space with two rooms interconnecting and an upstairs for the older ones. We have the very best educational toys and equipment, yet have still managed to keep a homely feel to the place (as we know this is important). We have kept our numbers small, with just a small group of 40 in the whole nursery.  This consists of a quiet baby room with just nine babies in at one time. We then have our beautiful two year old group which has around 12 children per day. Finally, we have our preschool group which consists of around 16 children per day.

As mothers ourselves we understand how hard it can be on the parents leaving their children behind. We aim to make this easier by working closely with parents. We use a digital learning journal called Tapestry, this allows us to record many things the children have done throughout the day, down to what they have eaten, how they were feeling, what they have learnt, who they have played with, and any other little things we know you would love to hear! You can simply log on to your child's private account and view photos and info regarding their day.

We treat your children with love and respect while being good role models, develop them emotionally, socially, physically and mentally. We base our curriculum on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and incorporate the seven areas of learning and development into your childrens day.
